Ways to Obtain DMV Records in Wyoming
A driver record is a document and file created by the Wyoming Department of Transportation. This file contains a great deal of information that is necessary to maintain to determine a driver's history. It includes information about moving violations, uninsured accidents, violations of any type of insurance law, driver's license suspensions, and more information. Take a few minutes to take a closer look at your own driver record to ensure it is accurate. It can play a role in how much you pay for insurance and whether or not a prospective employer hires you for a position.
What Information Do You Need?
It is a good idea to gather information about all of your records for verification. The agency offers two key types of forms, both of which are certified.
  • A three-year driver record in Wyoming will include all moving violations, all uninsured accidents, traffic violations in other states, any suspension of the driver's license, and any violation of car insurance laws.
  • A five-year driver record in Wyoming will provide the same information as well as any driving under the influence convictions, reckless driving, accident judgments, vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident (when aninjury is involved) as well as any transporting of alcohol to minors.
It is also possible to obtain a 10-year driver history. This will include all of the information noted above for a ten year period.
